Hans Martini joined the Royal Canadian Air Force Band in 1962 and was transferred to the RCR Band in 1970, where he played lead and solo alto sax for 21 years.

Hans has been providing live music to Fredericton since 1970 when he co-founded the Martini – George Quartet. An accomplished saxophone player, he studied at the Berklee School of Music in Boston. He has performed at many jazz festivals in the Maritimes, Quebec and the USA.

Hans now resides in Fredericton where he owns and operates his own music studio. Woodshed Sound provides repair service for all makes and models of woodwind and brass instruments.
