As a former photographer and multi-media instructor, I also can create custom website templates and themes. When I create sites for people using WordPress or Joomla, they have the option of updating it themselves. This Content Management Software (CMS) can be a little difficult at first, so help clients learn the basics, I’ve also got some short training videos on this site to help with some of the most basic tasks. Check out the tutorial category posts.

Portfolio

Website design is constantly evolving and is much like fashion design,  in that you can often figure out what year something was made. I want you to see what I’m doing right now, so this portfolio listing consists of  just my most recent creations. Please check the Themes page to see what custom themes I’ve created recently.

Site Design

Ray Myers Band -this site is a combination of HTML pages and a magazine-style WordPress blog.

The Canadian Paraplegic Association (NB) asked me to create a site that looked exactly like their old site but with less complex coding because they were not able to update the old site without the structure of the page breaking. Now that they have a site they can update themselves, they have opted to have me do it for them.

Bassic-Sax is a musician’s site I created many years ago. Last year we added a WordPress blog so the client could add daily posts. This is a fabulous example of what a WordPress blog can be when the client wants to really get into it.

Watching what happened to the site’s visitor statisitcs after the blog was added has given me tremendous insight into how Google search engines rank sites.

Deception is a Blues band that wanted a WordPress website that they could update themselves.

Tutorials with the Works  -This is a site I created using WordPress and ScreenToaster which is intended to be a training resource for my clients. It has several videos showing how to update a WordPress site.
